Using the modal particles are one of the most important ways to express the tone of speaking. Meanwhile, its usability is complicated, difficult to apply, including the character and the pronunciation problems, which lead to the difficulty for the foreigners to understand the Mandarin modal particle. This research is using the comparative research and the error analysis to make a comparison between the situations of Thai students study and using five Mandarin modal particles such as "A?Ba?Ne?Ma?Bale”,and the meaning and category of Thai and Mandarin modal particles, in order to explain the differences, similarities and characteristics of two languages. This research also using the answers from the surveys to making the summary analysis of the factors that make Thai students misuse the Mandarin modal particles.This research contains five chapters:Chapter 1: Introduction. Describing the important of Mandarin modal particle, the goal and importance of the research, the researching methods, and the sources of information.Chapter 2: The comparison between Thai and Mandarin modal particle. Describing the basic information of Thai and Mandarin modal particle, and analyze the compare and contrast.Chapter 3: Analyzing the survey's situation. Understand the using Mandarin modal particle situation of Thai student and their satisfaction with the quality of teaching, through their survey answers.Chapter 4: Analyzing the study Mandarin modal particle of Thai students. Analyze the misusage category and factors and point out the Mandarin modal particle misusage of Thai students, through the survey.Chapter 5: The conclusion. Summarize all the research content.
