Study On The Upgrading And Development Of Cultural Tourism In Ethnic Minority Villages

From the " Folk Tourism" in 1995 to the "Chinese Folk Art Tourism" launched by the National Tourism Administration in 2002,these activities mark China's vigorous rising of cultural tourism whose theme is folklore.During that time,there emerged a large number of unique and world-famous ethnic minority villages for tourism,and these villages are gradually evolved into the main form cultural tourism in China's minority areas.Minority village culture is a centralized reflection about status of national survival,aesthetic tastes and cultural characteristics.In recent years,Xiangxi state attaches great importance to the protection and development of traditional villages with ethnic characteristics and traditions,and explores a large number of villages with rich folk culture,prominent residential characteristics,beautiful living environment and harmonious ethnic relations.But a variety of factors affect the protection.Therefore,it is extremely necessary and urgent to think about how the cultural tourism of ethnic minority villages can be upgraded and sustainable.This paper starts from the need of the cultural protection and construction and the new trend of cultural tourism development in ethnic minority villages,using the method of integrating literature review with field investigation,taking Shuangfeng Village in Yongshun County as the case,to discuss mainly in the following aspects:First,make an introduction about the regional generalization,historical development,population,nationality,living conditions and economic status,etc towards the location of field investigation.The status of cultural tourism is sorted out and introduced especially from these aspects: cultural tourism resources,development and existing problems.Second,analyze the main difficulties in upgrading and development of cultural tourism in ethnic minority villages.From the four aspects of development environment and pattern,infrastructure and scientific planning,it analyzes the main difficulties which are hard to tackle,in upgrading and development of cultural tourism in ethnic minority villages.Third,offer the relevant countermeasures to promote the upgrading and development of cultural and tourism in ethnic minority villages through the analysis of the status and existing problems of cultural tourism in Shuangfeng Village.These countermeasures are setting up the goal of upgrading and developing,strengthening cultural protection and inheritance,establishing the mechanism for upgrading and development and constantly improving the developing quality of tourism.In conclusion,this paper makes an analysis to a certain degree,towards the original appearance of the location of field investigation,the developing status of cultural tourism and the influences on the local traditional culture and people's livelihood after the tourism development,points out the difficulties in upgrading and development of cultural tourism in ethnic minority villages and puts forward countermeasures for upgrading and development of cultural tourism.
