Not only meteorological disasters of the Baoji area happened frequently,but also there were the various types in the period of Republic of China.Such as : drought,flood,hail and frost.These disasters had extremely destructive,they caused large impacts for the local public.So this paper will mainly analyze the reason that disasters occurred in Baoji,in Republic of China.Elaborating theirs impacts and talking about the measures by the central government and local authorities,the circles of society,the nongovernmental organization took.Complex climate environment,diverse terrain,loose soil,numerous drainage systems made the meteorological disasters occur frequently.The meteorological disasters of the Baoji area had enormous impacts on people's production and life of the local,in the Republic of China.Just a little grain output or did not have grain were common phenomena.Besides,the price of the grain increased rapidly,destruction of traffic facilities,population migration or death,unsteady society order and so on.They were all caused by the disaster.The central government and local authorities,the nongovernmental organization and the circles of the society took some measures to be directed against the disaster.But owing to be short of money,taxes and levies,some institution's interdiction cut down the effect of the disaster relief.By summarizing the meteorological disasters of the Baoji area,in the Republic of China,analyzing the reason ?influence and concluding the social response.We can gain experience and lesson.In addition,it can offer reference for the city of Baoji,at the moment.
