The writing of power is an important dimension to understand the connotation of Kazuo Ishiguro's novel,which is also an important part of the world of Kazuo Ishiguro's novel,however,it usually becomes the forgotten corner of literary studies.Because of the identity of Kazuo Ishiguro who was born in Japan and grow up in England,obviously,he was subjected to much power from the western powers to suppress his words.Kazuo Ishiguro uses his writing in English to expose the control of the sovereign to the disadvantaged,showing us a lively power world.This thesis is focusing on the study of Kazuo Ishiguro's writing of power. Based on its early, medium and near stages, the thesis selects three representative novels with feature of power cage including The Remains of the Day,Never Let Me Go and The Buried Giant combing with theories from Giorgio Agamben,Michelle Foucault and Jeremy Bentham to deconstruct the world of power written by Kazuo Ishiguro in three dimensions consisting of life stratification in power, discipline in power,obedience and resistance in power.The "power" discussed in this paper is defined in the perspective of humanities, and more emphasis on revealing the relationship between domination and domination. It focuses on combing and interpreting the power manifestations in the literary works of Kazuo Ishiguro ,to resolve the means of the power chooses,how dose power work and explain how does bare life be like. According to Agamben's theory,power uses descent,nationality,and identity to divide life in different rank which provide a "law" basis to discipline bare life.After space, body and discourse and other means of discipline, the bare life become the available physical and political victims under power, the vast majority of them show a sovereign who absolutely obey, and a few rebels ,although it is not enough to reverse the whole situation, often with failure and compromise.In the writings of Kazuo Ishiguro , this resistance is not too much intense fighting, nor bloody or violent scenes of writing, often manifested as a silent cry, its power on how to resolve and did not put forward any positive way, but to a kind of unique thoughts, with forgotten, love or responsibility to achieve the effect of fighting with the power.Kazuo Ishiguro reveals that the power press and control of the bare life,power seems to permeate all aspects in Kazuo Ishiguro's novel world.This gives us a reflection of the power under the value orientation and legislative basis, it is also helpful to reflect the dilemma of bare life.This article intends to emphasize the power in the novels of Kazuo Ishiguro as a kind of reflection literature, which has profound unique reality and cultural value.
