As the international status of China is rising year by year,a worldwide trend of learning Chinese appears,and the number of Chinese learners keeps growing.In many countries,all kinds of Chinese training institutions come to people's sight to meet the very need of Chinese learners,except for the Chinese-related diploma education in schools.These short-term non-diploma Chinese training institutions are becoming more and more popular among the Chinese learners because of the low time cost,high efficiency and strong practicality etc.Therefore,the researches about the development of this kind of Chinese training institutions both at home and abroad are also increasing.The author was assigned a nine-month teaching duty as a volunteer from Confucius Institute of Bishkek Humanities University to the Chinese training center of Confucius Institute,and that provided a very good chance to study the current situation of the short-term non-diploma Chinese training.The author collected the research report about the short-term non-diploma Chinese training both at home and abroad as a reference,took the opportunity when teaching in the Chinese training center,used the field investigation,interview,and other methods to investigate the center on the situation of students and teachers,class preparation,learning cycle,curriculum,use of the textbooks,teaching methods,examination arrangement,teaching environment,teaching management,teaching cooperation and other aspects;then found out the Chinese training center had the following advantages: support from Confucius Institute,small-class teaching,highly qualified teachers,etc.,and at the same time,disadvantages also existed,such as single curriculum,lack of customized textbooks,lack of strict ranking system,incomplete management system and so on;the author also gives suggestions to these problems.In additional,the author realized the importance of the teachers' quality to the development of the Chinese training center,and gives special suggestions to the teachers of the Chinese training center.At last,the author was inspired by the research on the Chinese training center,and thought about the development of the Chinese training institutions all over the Central Asia countries,and put forward thecorresponding development proposals.Hopefully,this article could be a reference to those who work in Chinese training institutions and the future development of the Chinese training center,and also be helpful to other Chinese training institutions in other Central Asia countries.
