| The existence of TCFL training institutions provides a platform for foreigners who come to China to work and study to learn languages and exchange cultures.At present,the domestic research on the current situation of institutions and teaching modes is limited to Shanghai,Beijing,Guangzhou,Suzhou,Northeast and other areas,while the relevant research on Xiamen TCFL training institutions is still blank.Using the opportunity of internship in Xiamen Chinese Window School,the author visited and investigated four institutions with relatively large scale and complete data in Xiamen.Through the investigation,we find that TCFL training institutions mainly focus on one-to-one courses,and most of the students are working adults.The purpose of the organization is to meet the needs of students to the greatest extent.Therefore,the content,time and place of teaching in institutions are mainly students,which is the biggest difference between institutions and universities in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.By comparing the differences between Xiamen TCSL institutions and other regions horizontally,and analyzing the questionnaire data in depth,the author finds that the main problems of Xiamen TCSL training institutions are:loose management of teachers,improper use of teaching materials,conservative teaching methods,lack of cooperation and brand awareness.In view of the above problems,the author puts forward four feasible suggestions: strengthening the management of teachers and the construction of teaching staff,paying attention to the purchase and use of teaching materials,enriching teaching methods and strengthening internal exchanges,strengthening school-enterprise cooperation and enhancing competitive advantages.The author hopes that Xiamen TCFL training institutes can actively improve themselves,cooperate with universities as soon as possible,and develop towards a more standardized and professional direction. |
