Medical interpreting has achieved a relatively mature development in European and American countries, whereas it is still lagging behind in China, with the industry attracting less attention and far from being standardized and formalized.A fact remains, however, that medical interpreting market has been expending at home, requiring more interpreters to meet the demand.Under the guidance of the interpretive theory, this report takes three interpreting programs at Lanzhou Stomatological Hospital as examples, analyzes such expression flaws occurred during the programs as lengthy and over-colloquial expression from principles of clear expression, deverbalization and speech with eloquence, and supports the idea with correction suggestions.Meanwhile, the report also cites examples of successful interpretations to put forward some strategies to achieve better expression, such as being a good public speaker and standardizing expression in target language, and also three skills at interpreting sites, such as correcting mistakes in time, utilizing multi-media resources and the known information at disposal.
