Hanban started up the teachers training program for native Chinese teachers in2009 by providing Confucius Institute scholarship to cultivate native Chinese teachers who are from countries around the world in the form of studying in China.It effectively alleviated ubiquitous teachers shortage and played the “haemopoietic”function.So far Philippines(2+2)Indonesia(2+2&3+1)Thailand and Vietnam(2+2)and other Southeastern Asian countries had made certain achievements for native Chinese teachers training.While Myanmar is the largest number of native Chinese teachers in Southeast Asian countries,however here are rare studies on short-term training of native Chinese teachers,the cultivate of academic research is fewer.As the main force of Chinese education in Myanmar,native Chinese teachers still have lots of problem such as low education background,instability of teachers,educational resources distribute imbalance.Under the macro guide of China “one belt one road”strategy,Hanban and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council,PRC also strongly support Myanmar education.It is imperative to construct a cultivating model for Myanmar native Chinese teachers.It will fundamentally improve the quality of Myanmar native Chinese teachers,Increase the intensity of the promotion of Chinese in Myanmar and Play a major role in changing the status of Chinese education in Myanmar.By lots of documents search and questionnaire,this article investigated and analyzed scale,cycle,cultivating objectives,demands,curriculum feedback of previous short-term training and correspondence education and at the same time,based on experience of International cooperation model and radiation effects of YunNan province in Southeastern Asia and South Asia,the author boldly put forward to built a model Yunnan Normal University and Universities of Myanmar jointly run the cultivating mode.This model will be able to independent,proficient in the use of Chinese teaching,to master a certain second language teaching theory and teaching skills as well can fully qualified for local Chinese teaching work as the goal.Take advantage of curriculum for Current situation of Chinese teachers in Myanmar andConstruct the cultivating model for multi-level education background and different native Chinese teachers’ needs.And then form Myanmar native Chinese teachers training long-term mechanism and It will also contribute to the development of the global native Chinese teachers training system.
