| This thesis is a sight interpreting practice report in light of the World Seedless Raisins Production Areas Conference 2016 held on 28 th,September,which is one of the activities during the International Dried Fruit Fair in Turpan.Hosted by the World Association of Grapes Production Area and organized by the Turpan municipal government,the World Seedless Raisins Production Area Conference 2016 aims to promote the communication and cooperation between Xinjiang grapes producers and foreign ones,expanding the Xinjiang grapes brand to the world.During this practice,the author with a teacher as an interpreter to conduct sight interpretation on speeches of the conference.This report is composed of five chapters: the first chapter introduces the background,the meaning,contents,the form and difficulties of this practice.The second chapter carefully describes the preparations before the translation,which is illustrated in terms of long-term and short-term preparations.The third chapter explains the origin and development of translation variation facts,the contents of translation variation theory and the combination of this theory with interpretation.The fourth chapter and the fifth chapter are the key contents of this paper.The fourth chapter analyzes the guiding role of several specific translation variation methods in interpretation through detailed examples.The fifth chapter summarizes the shortcomings of this practice,the achievements of the author from this practice and the future improvements.Through this interpreting practice,the author further analyzes how the specific translation variation methods such as excerpting translating,editing translating,explaining translating and shrinking translating guide the interpreting practice.In so doing,the author aims to explain that the translation variation theory is not only adapt to translation but also the interpreting practice and some translation variation methods can be applied to interpreting. |
