| PurposeTo know the status of volunteer volunteer competence,and analyze its influencing factors by invenstigating the volunteer competency,self-harmony,self-differentiation and liFe satisfaction survey,and to explore the relationship between competency,self-harmony,self-differentiation and life satisfaction.fased on it,author designs a competency training program in line with the actual needs of volunteers and explore the effect of competency training.Methods1.Research study: Using Volunteer Competency Questionnaire,Self-harmony scale,Self-differentiation scale and Life Satisfaction Scale,test a random sample of 500 volunteers in Shanxi Province,to know the status of volunteer competence as well as the status of relevant psychological indicators.2.Intervention study:The recruited subjects were divided into intervention group and control group.The intervention group were tought and trained about volunteer competence,The control group was not given any training.Comparison of the two groups at different time points before the test,immediately after the test of competency questionnaire,and the correlation between the psychological indicators.To explore the impact of volunteer training on volunteer competency and related psychological indicators.Results1.Survey finding(1)The volunteer knowledge score is 14.55±3.19,skill score is 20.86±4.21,feature score is 7.21±1.80,self-concept score is 14.17±2.46,competency score is 72.30±7.95.(2)There are significant differences in motivations(t=-4.828,p<0.001),traits(t=-2.086,p<0.05),self-concept(t=-2.625,p<0.01)and competency scores(t=-2.621,p<0.01)among volunteers of different sexes.There were significant differences in knowledge(F=2.664,p<0.05),skills(F=5.662,p<0.001),motivation(F=2.592,p<0.05),self-concept(F=5.265,p<0.001)and competency(F=2.062,p<0.05)among volunteers of different ages.There are significant differences in the self-concept(F=9.550,p<0.001)dimension of volunteers from different families.There are no significant differences in the total score of competencies and the dimensions of volunteers with or without religious beliefs(p>0.05).Volunteer managers are significantly higher in terms of traits(t=-3.673,p<0.001),self-concept(t=-2.168,p<0.05),and competency(t=-2.019,p<0.05)than ordinary volunteers.There are significant differences in volunteer knowledge(F=12.643,p<0.001),skills(F=2.643,p<0.05),traits(F=8.542,p<0.001),self-concept(F=6.923,p<0.001),and competency scores(F=5.085,p<0.001)for volunteers with different cumulative service hours.(3)Related analysis found Competency is negatively correlated with selfharmony(r=-0.342,p<0.01),competency is significantly positively correlated with self-differentiation(r=0.310,p<0.01)and life satisfaction(r=0.328,p<0.01).self-harmony is negatively correlated with self–differentiation(r=-0.520,p<0.01)and life satisfaction(r=-0.213,p<0.01).Self-differentiation is positively correlated with life satisfaction(r=0.207,p<0.01).(4)Multivariate regression analysis shows that the main factors influencing self-harmony are gender,role,cumulative service duration and competency.The main factors influencing self-differentiation are gender,cumulative service duration and competency score.The main factors affecting life satisfaction are age,family location,religious beliefs,role and competency.(5)The results of stratified regression analysis show that self-harmony and self-differentiation still have a predictive effect on life satisfaction after controlling the influence of demographic variables and competency dimensions.median effect test results show that self-harmony,self-differentiation in the competency and life satisfaction play a part of the intermediary role,intermediary effect were 11.91%,11.13%.2.Intervention study results(1)After competency training,it has a significant increase in the knowledge(p<0.01),self-concept(p<0.01)and competency(p<0.05);(2)After competency training,the level of self-harmony(p<0.001)of volunteers in the intervention group decreased significantly,but self-differentiation(p<0.05),life satisfaction(p<0.01)significantly improved.Conclusion(1)Volunteer competency is close to the average level,and the volunteer’s gender,age,role,cumulative service duration is an important demographic Factor that affects volunteer competence;(2)Competency is an important Factor in self-harmony,self-differentiation and life satisfaction,and can predict self-harmony,self-differentiation and life satisfaction;(3)Self-harmony,self-differentiation play a part of the intermediary role in the competency and life satisfaction;(4)Competency training has a certain effect to improve the level of competency,self-harmony level,self-differentiation,life satisfaction level. |
