A Study On The Chinese Volunteer Teachers Training And Their Competencies

With the increasing economic strength of China,in recent years,the craze of'learning has swept all around the world,and the number of people learning Chinese is increasing year by year.After the introduction of the International Chinese Volunteer program in 2004,a large number of volunteer teachers were sent around the world each year.As our friendly neighbor,Thailand has been the country that needs volunteers most.The volunteer will have a training about 30 to 60 days before he goes to his position,I,as one of the volunteers to Thai Chinese teachers,had accepted training at Hainan Normal University between February to April.I got many from the training.So I try to make questionnaires to the volunteers who participated the training with me to know their opinion and suggestions of the training at Hainan Normal University.After arrived at the my position,I made another questionnaires to the students of Mae Fah Luang University to know their satisfaction about Chinese volunteer teachers.Through this two parts,I want to come up with some opinions and Suggestions to the training and volunteers themselves in order to make the volunteers get more in the training.The article included five parts,the first part is mainly research background,method,object and literature review;The second part is the training mode analysis of Hainan Normal University.and the volunteers' questionnaires,and the third part analyzes the questionnaire of the students in Mae Fah Luang University.The fourth part is the author's opinion on volunteer training and volunteers themselves after analyzing the questionnaire.The fifth part is a summary and the advantages and disadvantages of the article.
