This article is a practice report of translation on medical documents which refers to the safety and efficiency of insulin glargine/lixisenatide combination product compared to insulin glargine and lixisenatide alone in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.The report comprises five parts: chapter 1 task description,chapter 2 process description,chapter 3 preparation for translation,chapter 4 case analysis,and chapter 5 summary.Based on this context,the introduction of preparation phase before starting the program,description of translation course,and relative Computer Aid Translation(CAT)tools were showed in detail.During the translation course,all translation skills and methods are described by cases.Though preparation work was done very well,there were incorrect or imperfect parts in translation,the reasons and solutions of which were demonstrated correspondingly.In the end,it pointed out that adequate preparation did ensure an high quality of work,but as the implement subject were individuals,errors occurred inevitably due to personal reasons,which lead to subsequent trouble. |
