Onomatopoeia, also known as "onomatopoeia," is a unique class of speech that simulates sound in the language family. It can play an important role in language exchange. For international students, learning Chinese onomatopoeia can not only increase their own Chinese vocabulary, but also understand Chinese culture and enhance the language's expressive effect, making the language more concrete and more visual. Therefore, onomatopoeia teaching is also very important in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Based on the needs of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, this article starts the study of Chinese onomatopoeia from the following aspects. The first part introduces the origin, research significance, research content and research methods of this topic, and makes a detailed summary of the research of the target voices in academia. The second part is based on the "Modern Chinese Dictionary"(7th edition)(combined with the Business Edition "Learning Chinese Dictionary")and the"Division of Vocabulary for Chinese Syllabic Chinese Vocabulary"(2010,hereinafter referred to as "hierarchical division"),The "Horizontal Vocabulary for Chinese Proficiency Level and Outline of Chinese Characters"(2001,hereinafter referred to as the "Level Outline")and the comprehensive course materials used by international students of the International Education College of Anhui University are used as the vocal words database, and 234 onomatopoeia words are subject-specific and quantitatively compared and studied. We have come to the following conclusion:Regardless of whether it is a vocabulary or an overseas student's textbook, the vocabulary of the onomatopoeia is too small and the editor is very unreasonable. In the third part,we analyze and analyze the onomatopoeia in middle and senior comprehensive course textbooks of the Institute of International Education,Anhui University, and analyze the matching degree with the onomatopoeia in the "level outline" and "level division".From the above,we found that the matching degree between Chinese textbooks for foreign language and vocabulary is extremely low and the gap is very large. In the fourth part,54 commonly used onomatopoeias are counted from the BCC corpus according to word frequency, and 32 onomatopoeias are extracted from the BCC corpus and designed into a questionnaire survey.Taking the students from middle and senior classes of Anhui University as the survey subjects,32 valid questionnaires were finally collected for statistical analysis.Through statistical analysis,we have come to the following conclusions:The accuracy rate of middle-class foreign students for difficult hard-to-speech words is generally low;the accuracy rate of advanced-speaking students' acquisition of onomatopoeia is significantly higher than that of intermediate-level students;the difficulty with onomatopoeia is increased.Big,the poorer the foreign students' acquisition of the onomatopoeia. In the fifth part, according to the results of the questionnaire survey, corresponding proposals were made for the outline, textbooks, teachers and students,in the hope that it would be helpful for the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language. In the end, detailed instructional design was made for some commonly used Chinese onomatopoeia vocabulary in order to help teachers to explain and study abroad students.
