The stage of junior middle school is an important period for individual development,not only for the growing pressure of learning,also for the pressure from family,school and society.During this special stage,it’s easy for junior middle students to have the psychological problems,such as depression,anxiety and sadness,which are affected by many factors.Family environment is one of the important factors,and it plays an important role in the process of junior middle school students’ growth.Therefore,it is necessary to analyze the influence of family environment on the psychological health of junior middle students,which can help parents be aware of help create a better family environment to improve junior middle students’ psychological health.Based on this,the following discussion is carried out in this study.This paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter mainly introduces the research background and the significance,the ideas and methods of the study.This paper mainly uses the methods of literature research and empirical research,chooses the data of China Education Panel Survey(CEPS)in 2014,uses software of SPSS20.0 to analyze the data.It includes the methods of simple descriptive analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis,and it aims to analyze the influence of family environment on the psychological health of junior middle students.The second chapter mainly analyses the situation between family environment and psychological health of junior middle students at home and abroad.It sorts out domestic and foreign related literature from the family environment,psychological health,the relationship between family environment and psychological health.According to the results and the needs of this study,the family environment is divided into two parts,subjective environment and objective environment.Objective Family environment is defined as parents’ occupations,parents’ level of education,economic condition of family,only child and parent’ relationship.And subjective family environment is defined as parenting pattern,parents’ expectations,parent-child activities,and parent-child relationship.Besides,the psychological health of junior middle students in this paper is mainly defined as anxiety,depression,and emotional imbalance(unhappiness,sadness,and feelings of no meaning of life).The third chapter puts forward the theoretical basis and research hypothesis of this study.Ecosystem theory elaborates the behaviors of human have an inseparable relationship with the social environment.And the psychological health of junior middle students also has relationship with the family environment.Meanwhile,the theory of social support puts forward the better of individual social support,the more chance for individual to deal with the challenges from the environment.And the support of family can help junior middle students improve their level of psychological health.Ecosystem theory and the theory of social support provide psychological health of junior middle students with the basis of theory.At last,the paper puts forward the hypothesis of this study that there is an obvious and strong influence of family environment on the psychological health of junior middle students.The fourth chapter describes the source of the data,the selection and simple explanation of variables,and builds the model of this study.In details,it selects the data form the questionnaire,explains independent variables and dependent variables of this study.In order to keep the accuracy of the study,it selects sex,grade,family register,self-reported health,area as control variables,and it aims to control its impact on psychological health of junior middle students.The fifth chapter analyses the influence of family environment on the psychological health of junior middle students.There are three results as follows:First,parents’ occupations,economic condition offamily,and parents’ relationship have a significant influence on the psychological health of junior middle students,while parents’ level of education and only child have little or no influence on the psychological health of junior middle students.Next,parenting pattern,parents’expectations,parent-child activities,and parent-child relationship all have significant influence on the psychological health of junior middle students.Last,considering the subjective family environment as well as the objective family environment,parents’ level of education still has a little influence on the psychological health of junior middle students,while only child has a significant influence on the psychological health of junior middle students.Besides,the influence of parents’ expectations on the psychological health of junior middle students has reduced.The sixth chapter expounds the results of empirical analysis and puts forward some pertinent suggestions according to the results of analysis,such as improving the parenting patterns,changing parents’ expectations,increasing parent-children activities,cooperating with school and so on.It provides some advice to help junior middle students build a better family
