In 1980,German artist Rudiger Shetler once said it was almost impossible to create a work that could be called "contemporary art" in the urban space.However,nowadays public art has gone from "booth" to "audience seat" and it has become a trend of development.On the one hand,due to the rapid development of the Internet and the continuous advance of urban modernization,great changes have taken place in the economic age.With the change of the people's shopping mode,the consumer's material demand to the material has turned to the spiritual demand of the shopping environment,which has brought a new opportunity for the development of the commercial space.Urban business operators will continue to explore their own position,seek a way to integrate with culture,and seek for communication and interaction with the public.On the other hand,the intersection of art and commercial space is one of the most important ways of the integration of art and social economy and city culture.It is also an important opportunity for public contact with art.It is also an important support for the return of traditional and modern art culture to the social life.The article is divided into three parts,the first part is composed of the first and second chapters,the second part is the third chapter,and the third part is composed of fourth chapters and fifth chapters.Among them,the first part mainly discusses the research trend,the background and significance of the research,and expounds its theoretical basis.The second part is the core content of this thesis.It mainly discusses the concrete application of public art in Beijing commercial space.The author analyzes and summarizes the application type and application value of public art in Beijing commercial space and the difficulties according to my survey in Beijing Chaoyang Joy City,Parkview Green,South Luogu Lane and so on.The third part is the end of this paper.The author puts forward feasible measures and methods respectively for business managers and artists,and summarizes the shortcomings of this paper.The meaning of the study is that the involvement of art in the commercial space has a unique role in creating urban culture and maintaining the aesthetic feelings of the masses.At the same time,the commercial space is also oriented towards better service to the public and the development of the demand for mass life,entertainment and experience.It not only helps the two-way interaction between the social economy and art culture,but also realizes the effective unification of happiness and friendship.
