After-school practice is an important part of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.I use my experience as a volunteer teacher of Chinese teachers in Thailand to focus on comparative exercises have eclipsed the study results.I compared the after-school exercises of two textbooks that are widely used in Thailand,and I hope to find a suitable textbook for beginners in Ubon Ratchathani,Thailand.It will also provide some references and suggestions for future Chinese textbook writers.In this paper,the first volume of Happy Chinese(student's book)(Thai version)and the first edition of "junior high school version of experience Chinese(student's book)(Thai version)" and the corresponding training book are used as research objects.This paper uses three methods: the comparative analysis method,the data statistics method,and lastly the questionnaire and survey method.Using these three methods,I compare the success of the exercises in the two books.After comparing the results,it is possible to decide which book and which exercises are best for the students.This paper is divided into five parts.Part One,Introduction: This introduction discusses the reason and significance of the topic,and summarizes the research results of "Happy Chinese" and "Experiencing Chinese" by predecessors,and then summarizes the research topics and the research methods adopted.Part Two: This part mainly analyzes the after-school exercises in the first volume of two textbooks.The four aspects discussed are quantity,question type,arranging order,and practice content by comparative analysis and data analysis.Through the comparative analysis of the four aspects,two textbooks and supporting workbooks have a certain understanding,through the analysis and comparison of two textbooks salient points and deficiencies.Part Three: Through the analysis of the questionnaires of the students and the teachers,this part analyzes the feedback from the two groups of students and teachers,collects the feedback information of the two textbooks and provides some references for the follow-up volunteers and the writers of the Chinese teaching materials for foreigners.Part Four: According to the above comparative analysis of the survey and the specific conditions of Chinese teaching and students in Thailand,the author of the textbook proposes corresponding suggestions in four aspects.Part Five Conclusion: It mainly summarizes the research of the first three chapters,analyzes and sums up the shortcomings of the research.Finally,it points out the direction of follow-up research according to the existing problems.
