The Confucius Institute of Cheju Halla University,which is a local university outside the Korean Capital Circle,is studied in the paper,and we rarely found the analysis of the teaching situation of Confucius Institute before.From the curriculum,teaching activities,teaching materials,students and teachers and other aspects,the teaching of Chinese in the Confucius Institute of this university is analyzed in the paper.On the basis of the existing research,this paper analyzes and sorts out the specific problems and difficulties it faces in the course of its development by formulating a questionnaire to investigate the specific problems and difficulties faced in the Chinese teaching of this Confucius Institute.The author also tries to find out the way to help the teaching of Chinese in the Confucius Institute,the author hopes that the paper could provide some reference for the development of the Chinese teaching in the Confucius Institute of this university,as well as the managers and teachers in the Confucius Institute,so that they can fully and comprehensively understand the process of Chinese teaching in the Confucius Institute,seek advantage and avoid disadvantages during the process of teaching,and improve the level of Chinese teaching.At the same time,the author hopes to provide some ideas for the study of Chinese teaching in other Confucius Institutes,and then provide some help for the Chinese teaching of Confucius Institutes in Korea.This paper is divided into five chapters.Chapter 1 is the introduction,in which the basis and significance of the topic,research object and research methods,and the status of the research are introduced.Chapter 2 to Chapter 4 is the main part of this paper.Of which,in Chapter 2,the author has carried on the investigation design of Confucius Institute of Cheju Halla University,and introduced in details.This chapter mainly includes four parts: the investigation background and purpose,the investigation object,the investigation method and the questionnaire survey design.In Chapter 3,the author analyzes the situation of Chinese teaching at Confucius Institute in Cheju Halla University.This chapter mainly adopts the method of combining investigation and interview analysis.The contents of investigation and analysis are: curriculum and teaching activities,teaching materials,students and teachers.In Chapter 4 of this paper,the author sorts out the problems in the teaching of Chinese at Confucius Institute in Cheju Halla University,and puts forward some suggestions from three perspectives.It includes suggestions for curriculum design,teaching,teaching materials and teachers.Chapter 5 is the conclusion.In this chapter,the author summarizes the process and results of investigation and analysis throughout the full text.
