Ego-identity is a self-centered,psychological structure concept that describes the basic functions of self.Since the 1960s,many scholars at home and abroad have begun to conduct a large number of current and interventional studies on the self-identity of adolescents and early adult individuals from the theoretical and practical levels. At the present stage, although a large number of domestic and foreign researches have explored the development of self-identity and its improvement methods, most of the studies focus on general self-identity and still do not have a good discussion of specific areas,so that it is impossible to address the specific problems of development of youth personality.Related researches show that the university stage is an important period for individuals to establish intimate relationships. In this period, they will also face specific issues and contradictions in intimacy. However, few researchers have studied the self-identity status in college students in light of specific issues in love. Therefore, the main issues to be studied in this research are the preparation of self-identity measurement tools in the field of romantic relationship of university student, how to measure the development of self-identity of college students in the field of romantic relationship, and whether it can be promoted by group counseling. Therefore, the above problems are solved through three studies:In Study 1,according to Marcia's four identity status model, based on the relevant research on the values of love,we compiled the“the questionnaire of self-identity status in the field of romantic relationship in university students”.In study 2,a cluster sampling and random sampling method was used to test 1003 full-time college students to examine the self-identity status in the field of romantic relationship in college studentsIn Study 3,based on self-identity theory and value clarification theory, and based on“cognition of self—analysis of self”as the main clue, the self-identity group counseling program of romantic relationship in college students was designed to provide group counseling activities to 72 university students. The program is divided into two phases:no situational value selection activities and situational value selection activities. We use the quasi-experimental design of the intervention group and the control group and the self-identity status questionnaire in the field of love in college students as a measurement tool to investigate the self identity status in order to explore the effect of group counseling on the self-identity status in the field of romantic relationship in college students.Through the above studies, the following results are obtained:In Study 1,the reliability and validity of the questionnaire of self-identity in the field of romantic relationship in university students complied with the reliability and validity of the personality scale(internal consistency reliability was between 0.68~0.79,and half-confidence was between 0.61~0.78).Among the questionnaires, the factors of the items of the questionnaire were clearly loaded, and the clustering validity was high and the degree of discrimination between the factors was good.In study 2,the type of moratorium was the largest among individuals in the area of love, accounting for 39.95%,followed by the same type of diffusion, accounting for 32.08%,in the category of identity foreclosure and diffusion, the number of people is the lowest, accounting for 13.13%and14.84%respectively.The individual's distribution of different grades(?~2=22.45,p=0.008),gender(?~2=21.80,p=0.000),love status(?~2=46.78,p=0.000),number of relationships(?~2=62.34,p=0.000)in the type of identity has significant differences. At the same level, the level of self-identity in the field of romantic relationship of college students is significantly different among the demographic variables such as grade, gender, love status, and number of romantic relationships. In Study 3,after the selection of activities without contextual values, the identity diffusion and moratorium scores of the intervention group were significantly lower than those of the control group 2 that had not experienced any intervention(t=-2.80,p=0.007;t=-2.48,p=0.017);With contextual value selection activities, the score of the control group 1 in the identity diffusion dimension was significantly lower than the control group 2 that did not receive any group counseling activities(t=-2.78,p=0.008);Adding the situational value selection activity for the intervention group on the basis of the situation-free value selection activities, compared with the control group 1with separate situational value activities, made the score difference before and after the activity has a significant difference in the identity moratorium(t=-2.54,p=0.014).After the whole activities, the scores of identity foreclosure and diffusion in the intervention group were significantly lower than those in the control group 2(t=-2.01,p=0.050;t=-2.73,p=0.009).Based on the above results,it can be concluded that:First of all,the adapted Questionnaire on Self-Identity of College Students in Romantic field can be used as an effective tool to measure the self-identity status in the field of romantic relationship in college students.Secondly, the development of self-identity in the field of romantic relationship in college students is consistent with the trend of general status of self-identity,but it has its own uniqueness. There is also a MAMA cycle phenomenon in the development of self-identity in the field of romantic. Finally, the group counseling program based on the clarification of values has a certain role in promoting the level of self-identity status in field of romantic relationship in college students.
