The Application Of Parallel Text In C-E Translation

With the development of economy,translation is used more and more widely.Applied translation has become a mainstream and occupied a leading position in translation market.And to meet the clients' demands,the translator need to use some auxiliary tools so as to fulfill high-quality and efficient translation task.Parallel text,among others,is an effective tool.This paper discusses the importance of parallel text with reference to the translations of Renovation Project of Old Residential Areas in Tianjin submitted to DIABP,analyzes the problems involved in C-E translation,and specifically discusses the significant role of the parallel text in C-E translation based on three respects : form,content and style.
