Teaching Chinese as a foreign language emphasizes both the cultivation of practical language skills and the dissemination of Chinese culture.Paper-cutting is the carrier of Chinese folk culture,and it is also a part of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.However,as far as the current situation is concerned,the application of paper-cutting in teaching is far less than the usage of calligraphy and traditional Chinese painting.And at the same time,paper-cutting teaching,which has a smaller proportion in the cultural teaching section,is also limited by various resources like teachers,teaching materials,etc.However,paper-cutting,which does not require lots of theoretical knowledge to understand and learn can be easily applied in daily teaching.Therefore,the in-depth study of paper-cut teaching design will be of significance.Combined with the relevant theoretical researches on cultural teaching and curriculum design,that is,the analysis of principles in course designing,teaching environment,teaching objectives,teaching principles,and teaching methods,the author uses the public secondary school as an example to reflect on how to carry out a practical lesson.Moreover,some suggestions have been made on the basis of reflection.It is hoped that this will provide reference for teaching Chinese paper-cutting in the future.
