Rural-urban migrants in big cities is an important object of the research in rapid urbanization process, is also a country with "the urbanization with people" as the core in the new urbanization strategy of the most important policy starting point and the foothold. As the difference of regional economy weakening, the expansion of the non-state economy in cities and towns, and loose of migrant policy, migration features of rural-urban migration of big cities are increasingly complex. Especially the family migrations become another important phenomenon of migration; migration patterns and different family structure in the process of urbanization also show different characteristics of urbanization. In this article, according to the positive-theory, we chose the rural-urban migration in Xikou village in Nanjing Yuhua district as the object of study based on the literature. Under the current urban institutions, the marginality and family breakdown of suburban migration represented by the rural-urban migration of Xikou village and the contrast of emotional needs and those paid in reality were shown by questionnaire, semi-structured interview and interventional observations etc. that deeply observed the living conditions such as social space, living space etc. of rural-urban migration in Xikou village and refresh the family characteristics of suburban migration from the point of the estrangement and emotional connection of family members. Flexible non-economic factors represented by "tolerance, love, affection" will play a more important role than the rigid factors represented by the economic level and the physical environment in terms of stability of social development, communication and integration within classes.
