Study On The Influencing Factors Of Rural Economic Growth In Ningxia

Chinese agriculture is going through transform from quantity growth way to growth way of quality, the economic growth changes from extensive growth way to the intensive growth way. We have already realized: The output has increased probably, but the people' s economic situation does not have too big changes and even worse than before. So it is essential for us to analyze agricultural and rural economic growth factors so as to reveal inherent mechanism of the economic growth, distribute effectively key productive elements, promote economic growth and the people improvement of living standard.This dissertation will divide the main factors of the rural economic growth into five respects :Invest (the capital, work); System (include unofficial systems, such as ideology, etc.); Technology; Natural resources; Industrial structure. We have stressed the roles of ideology and natural resources in rural economic growth during our study: Ideology that usually we call it unofficial restrain is a key factor of influencing rural economic growth in western ethnic minority areas of China; Natural resources is another main factor of restricting the rural economic growth of west. This dissertation proposes: Only we follow combinatorial principle of key productive elements , cooperation of every key elements closely, coordinating each other, Could it fully exert their functions , and promote the rural economic growth. However, we must pay attention to this: key productive elements have the difference in different areas(this is the point of importance); Different period, probably cooperating with the best proportion of key productive elements might change accordingly. Study the regional economic growth, We should study the productive factors of the economic growth of some special areas. According to the regional characteristic and comparative advantage of these key elements, We must maximize to exploit favorable factors and minimize to utilize unfavorable ones to establish the relevant policies in these areas. Ningxia is one of the ethnic minority areas of the northwest of China, It is a fact that the difference between Ningxia and the whole country exists in the key elements of productivity, so establishing Ningxia relevant policies and measures of rural economy has both, generality and differences. This Master thesis proposes and develop Ningxia countermeasure of rural economy according to productive key elements such as invest, system, technology, natural resources, structural adjustment in Ningxia district.The production function is to show the relations between input and output. The study on economic growth theory, no matter what new economic growth theory and classical economic growth theory, we regard production theory and production function as their theoretical foundation. This text set up an measurement model of key elements which determine and influence agriculture development to estimate with model contribution shares of agriculture growth on capital, land, work, etc in Ningxia from 1978 to 2000. During these decades the overall appraisal which estimates the economic growth of Ningxia shows: Agriculture total growth of output rely on expansion of material input mainly since the,reform and opening-up, Contribution share of technology and system on agriculture increase is smaller relatively than that of material input, economic growth is lack of efficiency; Phased appraisal shows: Family's responsibility system , market economy, and industrialization play positive roles to the rural economic growth. These are quickening agricultural technological progress of the two periods. So, the fast growth to be kept agriculture has important realistic meanings.
