"The research report on development of China's private pention institutions", published at July 16th,2015 by China Research Center on Aging, pointed out that the private pention institutions, as one of the effective ways to realize socialization of aged support, would become the subject of the development, and attract more and more attention from government and society. With the advancing of the privatization of socialization of social welfare in China in recent years and the increasing demand of aged support, private pention institutions, especially the small-and-medium-sized, are increasing constantly both in number and size.Pension services is an important part of the social old-age insurance. The way to solve the problem of small-and-medium-sized private pention institutions in the trend of socialization of pension service, and standardize the development of it, is an important problem related to the national economy and people's livelihood. It is also an important factor to maintain China's social stability.In this article, we analyze the services status of small-and-medium-sized private pention institutions in Taiyuan in the way of questionnaire and interview. And we reveal the problems existing in the pension services, and put forward the improvement scheme to solve these problems. In conclusion, to solve the problem that brought about by the insufficient service of small-and-medium-sized private pention institutions in Taiyuan, the government should play its leading force, integrate various social resources, guide and supervise construction of hardware and software of the pention institutions, so as to improve the quality of life of the elderly who lives in the institutions, and promote the better and faster development of these pention institutions.
