Pension Model In Taiyuan Problem Under The Background Of An Aging Population

Population aging is one of the major problems facing the world today. Since 2000,our country has entered the aging society, the number of elderly population is increasing every year. Taiyuan is no exception, it also appears the trend of population aging, which presents the feature of rapid population aging speed and increasing number of the elderly, etc. Influenced by the family planning policy, the family structure in Taiyuan city gets smaller and smaller, the number of elderly people in a family is more and more.In this case, the elderly pension problem has become increasingly prominent.In this context, the elderly pension demand in Taiyuan is bigger and bigger, which has brought some challenges to the pension mode. Due to the increase in the number of elderly people and the influence of family planning policy, the traditional home-based pension mode is gradually weakening. Community home endowment model belongs to a new pension model, all aspects of development are slow, remains to be further perfected. Institution endowment lacks of government financial support, operations management model is not standard, service personnel quality is low generally, causing the difficult development of pension mode. In a word, there are so many problems in the current pension mode that it has been unable to meet the demand for old-age provision.There is need to explore the diversified pension modes in Taiyuan in order to get better service for the elderly.The thesis analyses the main three kinds of endowment models in Taiyuan through on-the-spot visit the Taiyuan population aging office, bureau of civil affairs, community social organization center and other related departments. By looking up relevant information to get some real data, which gives the analysis of Taiyuan city endowment pattern data support. Through the combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis method to study the current situation of Taiyuan city endowment pattern, according to which studying the shortage of Taiyuan city endowment pattern. At last, the thesis puts forward feasible suggestions to perfect the endowment pattern, which argues that rise the diversified model of pension to the system level, and build diversified pension mode mainly dominated by home-based pension, community home-based endowment and institution endowment to support.
