Study On Supporting Situation Of The Left-behind Elderly In Xindu

At present,the economy of China is developing very rapidly.Large-scale urban renewal and resetting of levy lands accelerated the pace of new rural urbanization,but resulted in the problems that some farmers lost their farming lands and young people left their home,migrated to adjacent areas and eventually to cities.Most elderly people,because of homesick complex and difficulty of adapting to city life,choose to stay in the rural areas and thus become left-behind elderly,which leads to the appearance and increasing of rural empty nest family.As a result of family planning policy implemented in 1980s,the problem of population aging is becoming more and more serious in rural areas,and the number of elderly people is increasing gradually,making supporting one of the major problems restricting the development of "agriculture,rural areas and farmers".Along with the increase of elderly people in rural areas,more demands are called on the improvement of their material living conditions,economic support,body care and spiritual concern,which makes the situation of supporting rural elderly increasingly serious.As a traditionally agricultural suburb,Xin Du is experiencing a new urbanization,large-scale output of labor force and the universal problem of supporting rural left-behind elderly.Based on investigating their basic living conditions,economic income,health care,cultural care and spiritual demands of the rural left-behind elderly in the nine administrative villages in Xin Du,the thesis presents a more comprehensive understanding of the basic status of supporting rural left-behind elderly and the development and implementation of various security systems.Combining the actual situation and life of rural left-behind elderly in Xin DU,this thesis carries on a positive exploration on improving their life.On the basis of a large number of questionnaires,this thesis analyzes the contributing factors and proposes countermeasures from aspects of individual,family and society.Firstly,gradually change their traditional concept of "rearing children to provide for the aged".Help them to actively plan self-support on the basis of their own and family situation.Encourage rural left-behind old people to step into the society.Secondly,publicize rural civilization,focus on construction of rural spiritual civilization,inherit traditional Chinese virtues of "respect and love the elderly",and promote the role of family supporting.Finally,improve various rural security system,vigorously develop the local economy,fulfill the obligation in serving the rural old-age people,insist on reform and innovation,speed up the development of serving the rural aged people,realize the combination of family endowment and institution endowment so as to make the rural aged people to be supported,provided and lead a happy life.
