Research On Left-behind Elderly Pension Problems In Rural Areas From The Perspective Of Marxism Humanistics

With the deepening of Chinese reform and the rapid growth of urbanization, more and more rural labor forces leave their hometowns to seek for new opportunities in the cities, which result in massive left-behind elderly. Up to now, the left-behind elderly in China has gone beyond 50 million and the aging problems for left-behind elderly have received close attention from the government and all sectors of the society. On the basis of Marxist humanistic ideology, this paper would re-examine the aging problems of the left-behind elderly in rural areas of China by flexible applying the theoretical results of sinicization of Marxism humanistic. By study of the previous relevant literature and consulting research data of field visit and comprehensively grasping the first-second materials, it can refer to the existing problems of the aging practices by analysis and organizing information. By taking the important thought of people-oriented as the starting point and foothold for solving problems, combing theory with practice, drawing lessons from the successful experience of foreign countries, it proposes its own suggestions as for how to promote and improve the left-behind elderly in rural areas. Firstly, it improves the new-type rural social pension system and constructs the multi-level old-age security system. Secondly, it promotes the land transfer to raise funds for the pension of left-behind elderly. Thirdly, it should enhance the national financial investment to improve the rural health care of the rural areas. Fourthly, it can build up the pension service platform of three levels so as to construct the socialized pension service system covering both rural and urban areas. Fifthly, it can build up sound rural aging organizations to enrich the cultural life of left-behind elderly. Sixthly, it can strengthen publicity and guidance to encourage the elders to support themselves and each other. Seventhly, it should advance the virtue of supporting elders in China so as to popularize the filial culture of respecting elders.
