Regional public goods theory provides a new research perspective for the East Asian regional cooperation.Models for Regional Cooperation means the distribution of regional public power, and supply models of regional public goods define that how to distribute regional public power. On the one hand,a reasonable regional public goods supply system ensures that the regional public goods could be supplied effectively. It makes the supplier gain the legitimacy of regional public power. On the other hand, the supply sides of regional public goods gain the power to dominate regional rules and regimes by supplying public goods. The supply models of public goods are influenced by factors such as collective action dilemma, supply capacity and supply intention, externalization of public goods, priority of supply, rational choice of states under supply competition, interdependence between supply-side and demand-side.Under the influence of these factors, there are three supply modes of regional public goods such as the imperial supply model, the contract supply model and the imperial-contract mixed supply mode. Therefore,it leads to empire cooperation mode, contract cooperation mode and empire-contract cooperation mode. From a perspective of supply modes of regional public goods, the regional cooperation model in East Asia is the imperial-contract mixed supply mode, that is to say, according to contract, the United States and China and Japan share the public power in East Asia.
