The Relief Research Of The Family Caregivers For Disability Elderly Under The Perspective Of Social Support

With the coming of aging society,there are more and more aging population.With the matching is the increase of diseases of old age and increasing disability elderly group.The problem of pension have become a significant social work.But the China's traditional culture of support by son when one becomes old,Which make family endowment become the main way of pension.So the huge pressure of family caregivers you can't imagine.While the study always focus on disability old man itself at present,little on family caregivers,and don't form a system theory and research.The disability caregivers as my research object.On the basis of the theory of social support,through the qualitative research.In-depth interview with seven caregivers at yanling community where is Neijiang in Sichuan province.And explore the pressure of the disability caregivers from the perspective of social support,and they want or demand.I find that the pressure of family caregivers always exist in the economic,physical and mental aspects,because of sickness poor,and they need to take care of the old man had to give up their work,or engaged in low-paying jobs,leading to the family caregivers economic stress.And stress on the body and mind is mainly embodied in the long-term care work hard,and the family caregivers of social support system is not perfect,and is mainly manifested in the aspect of informal support,Therefore,I put forward the relief Suggestions from the formal support perspective,Including perfecting social support policies and regulations,providing economic support for family caregivers,and integration of community resources for family caregivers,widen the channel of the psychological dredge,and nursing skills training platform for them,and so on.I hope this research can reduce the pressure of those family caregivers,and deepen the research field of family caregivers.
