A Research On The Pressure Relieving Mechanism For Caregivers In The Disabled Teenagers Family

Guo liqun,director of the Publication and Culture department of the China Disabled Persons' Federation in 2018,said that there are about 85 million disabled people in China.The number of disabled people aged 14 to 25 reached 4 million,accounting for 4.80% of the total disabled population.The number of disabled people is increasing rapidly,and the number of disabled teenagers is also increasing.Adolescents with disabilities have different levels of disabilities in many abilities,such as physiological and social integration.A series of obstacles make unable to be compared with their peers in cognitive,socialization self-care.The prevalence of poor self-care ability,low levels of social participation and inability to successfully complete the socialization process by relying on their own strength.As a result,the dependence on family caregivers is strong.However,the long-term heavy and complicated care tasks make the caregiver completely devoid of their own life.At the same time,they are also under pressure from many aspects.Coupled with no outside support,family caregivers are at the limit,both mentally and physically.If the development of social welfare cannot be further promoted and the family caregivers of disabled teenagers cannot get help,it will be difficult to make the life of disabled teenagers and family caregivers better.The growth of disabled teenagers will be hindered,which will affect the harmonious development of the society.This paper takes the family caregivers of disabled teenagers in J district,Zhengzhou city as the research object.There are disabled teenagers aged 14 to 25 in the family.The caregiver is mainly parents.And the caregivers have been caring for more than two years,living with teenagers and providing free services.Questionnaire survey,interview and literature research were used to investigate.According to the study,it was found that the family caregivers of disabled adolescents are in sub-health status in long-term care,more negative emotions and unstable psychological state;The frequency of external exchange reduces the status quo of the pressure.The main reasons are the lack of economic and material support,lack of spiritual support;With a heavyduty of care;Self-inferiority and external prejudice,resulting in social pressure;Lack of interpersonal communication and imperfect support systems.Based on stress analysis of the disabled youth family caregivers and pressure after factor analysis,the author proposes that the government should increase financial aid,strengthen the promotion of psychological knowledge,provide professional care training,improve the support system and strengthen the intervention of social work,etc.,in order to alleviate the pressure on family caregivers of disabled teenagers.
