With the arrival of the aging society in our country,supporting problem has caused the corresponding attention,and scholars has taken attention to different modes of providing for the aged.In this paper,the author analysis the model of migratory elderly by in-depth interviews and questionnaire methods in Beihai.From the perspective of the autonomy and the embeddedness,making use of the related theories of consumption sociology to analysis of the influencing factors of the model of migratory elderly.The model of migratory elderly is the result of reasonable choice for elderly individuals.The paper found that the elderly who choose the model of migratory elderly has better physical quality and social and economic condition than the others.The elderly who migrate to another city which the cost of living is not high,also can be in a good environment with the sea,beach,suitable temperature,the sun are a result of rational choice.The environment is beneficial to their body,so they choose this mode of providing.In addition to the rational choice,personality preference effects the migratory elderly individuals,including city amenities,personal interests and the transformation of endowment concept.This paper takes the object of consumption as a whole place or city to analyze the endowment model of "the migratory birds",a case study of the amenities in Beihai.Urban amenities has been the object of consumption attracting the migratory elderly.The affection of the migratory elderly to the amenities in Beihai is different.The first object of consumption is natural amenities.Secondly,the artificial amenities,and the third is social amenities,commercial amenities as neutral amenities.From the perspective of embeddedness,we found that the behavior of "the migratory birds" to the elderly influenced by the background of the times,social relations and mass media.The background of the times creates the conditions for them,consanguinity relationship becomes constraint and mass media endowed the symbolic value.At present,the endowment model of "the migratory birds" to the elderly is facing a series of problems and challenges,including variation of multiple field,resource disequilibrium problem,diversified demand is inappeasable,social integration problem,the system has been disamenities and so on.On the basis of study,the author makes some suggestions.From micro perspective,attract the migratory elderly individuals to live in Beihai,actively use waste heat,establish their social support network.From meso perspective,improve local quality,develop urban amenities,strengthen the management of consumer responsibility unit.From macro perspective,improve security system of migratory elderly and promote the supporting development of the pension services actively.
