On The Daily Life Consumption Of The Urban Elderly

At present,our society has entered the development stage of accelerating aging,and the elderly population is increasing rapidly.According to the data of the National Bureau of Statistics,people aged 60 years or over has increased 230 million in 2016,accounting for 16.7% of the total population.The people aged 60 yeas or over will reach 370 million by 2030,25.5 percent of the total population,and will increase 480 million in 2050,about 34.1 percent of the total population.In accordance with international practice,the country whose population of aged 60 or over up to 10% is an aging society,so China is entering a moderately aging society now.This has led to a silver market with huge potential demand---by 2020,the demand of the aged in China accounts for 17.2 percent of total spending.Undoubtedly,there are many problems in the consumption psychology,concept and behavior of the elderly at the same time.Through the survey of the consumption of the elderly in Changchun,this paper finds that different economic incomes determines different levels of consumption.The backward consumption concept leads to the difference of consumption behavior.Infirmity and peer groups interact with each other,and they tend to show blind obedience to health products.The problems of emotional consumption dependence and insufficient awareness of consumption protection caused by emotional emptiness are analyzed from three aspects: social environment,family and individual.Countermeasures are put forward such as building a good social consumption environment,strengthening social security,enhancing family concern about the elderly and helping raise the scientific consumption awareness.The first chapter gives a full account of the research background,research goal,theoretical basis of the research,research significance and research method,summarizes the research on the consumption of the urban elderly by domestic and foreign scholars,and puts forward the shortcomings existing in the research on the basis of analysis and collation.It clarifies some relevant fuzzy concepts such as old people,consumption of daily life,consumption concept and consumption behavior.The second chapter makes a qualitative and statistical analysis of the basic information of the old people and the factors that affect the daily consumption of the old people,and hence present the situation of the daily consumption of the elderly in the city.The third chapter points out the problems of the daily life consumption of urban elderly.The fourth chapter is the analysis of this investigation.The fifth chapter puts forward suggestions for the daily consumption of urban elderly.Finally,the paper puts forward some valuable countermeasures for the elderly to spread the correct consumption knowledge,help the old people to set up a correct daily consumption view,and help them form rational and comprehensive consumption view to make their life better.
