Resilience includes three aspects:personal ability,personal and environmental interaction process and positive results.Resilience is a ability to lead individuals to make favorable choices and produce positive results in harsh environments.Resilience is the interaction process between individuals and the environment.Through the efforts and learning of the day after tomorrow,the resilience can be continuously enhanced;Resilience is a result.In the face of adversity,it is adaptive function and behavioral results are more positive than expected.Childhood is an important stage in the development of personality when children should be protected by the family and society,especially children in difficult situations.However,under strong pressure,children in difficult situations can be easily affected by stress and respond negatively.Rather than resisting adversity and setbacks,children in difficult situations can resort to negative coping methods such as escape from the fact,fantasy and passive problem-solving.In the long run,it will have a negative impact on the health and development of children in difficult situations.Therefore,it is urgent to improve the resilience of children in difficult situations.Based on the platform of "Upstream Spirit Group",nine children in difficult situations(the clients)were referred and three questions were mainly included in this paper:How these children deal with adversity'?Do they tend to be negative or positive?How about their present level of resilience and needs?Is social group work an effective way to improve these children's resilience?Based on interviews,observation and questionnaires,this paper studies on how children in difficult situations resist adverse circumstance,analyze the needs of vulnerable children,and sort out the status of resilience,and evaluate the effectiveness of the team's efforts to improve the resilience of vulnerable children.Rethinking and suggesting the improvement of the resilience of vulnerable children.The resilience of vulnerable children is mainly composed of internal protection factors and external protection factors.By analyzing the needs of vulnerable children,vulnerable children have the need to improve self-cognition and self-efficacy,the desire to establish positive and rational beliefs,the motivation to gain family support in greater family relations,the endeavour for setting goals and make actions and the need to learn interpersonal communication skills as well as problem-solving ability.In combination with the needs assessment of vulnerable children,this paper focuses on how to use group work to improve the internal protection factors of vulnerable children,namely social competence,self-efficacy,sense of purpose and efficacy.Research shows that by participating in the " Upstream Spirit Group”,members become more confident,cheerful,and able to establish close relationships with their peers.This shows that the group's working methods have a certain effect on improving the resilience of vulnerable children,but at the same time using group work methods.There are some shortcomings in improving the resilience of vulnerable children,and suggesting to comprehensively improve the resilience of vulnerable children in view of the deficiencies in practice.This paper studies the practical experience and methods of enriching children's internal protection factors from social work to enrich the social work,and expands the research perspective of social work intervention resistance.From the practical level,social work methods can rationally and scientifically improve the resilience of vulnerable children.To help the group of vulnerable children correctly face the setbacks and dilemmas in life and achieve the healthy growth of vulnerable children.
