Research On The Modernization Transformation Of Confucian Political Culture

After having an overall view of the developmental history of Chinese politics, it could be concluded that, in a particular historical period, both the political system in society and the behavioral patterns of social members under specific political systems have their own features. These political acts are not only affected by economic and social development and changes in political structure, but also influenced by changes in other factors such as values and thinking modes. These social values and thinking modes belonging to spiritual category are what we call political culture. The origins of the development of political culture should be traced back two thousand years ago. At that time, the traditional Chinese political culture, represented by Confucian political culture, had begun to act on all aspects of our people' ideology, behavior pattern, daily life and political life in various ways. This paper aims to study the composition,development and influence of the Confucian political culture in the traditional Chinese political culture, and to criticize and inherit the main contents of the Confucian political culture, thus forming a new modern Confucian political culture model.Based on such objectives, this paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction part, which probes into the origin of the research of the political culture and the Confucian political culture, and also the significance of the topic. According to the current research situation of the relevant contents at home and abroad, the relevant concepts are described and illustrated.Besides, the research methods, contributions and shortcomings of the paper are shown in this chapter.The second chapter makes a statement on the related concepts of political culture and Confucian political culture.To explore the basic characteristics and development of Confucian political culture.To analysis the theory of the direction of the transformation Confucian political culture modernization.The third chapter mainly expounds the connotative features of the modernization of Confucian political culture in the several period after the establishment of China in 1949. This paper makes a vertical discussion on the process of the modernization of Confucian political culture from the middle of the 20th century to the early stage of the 21st century. Besides, this paper explores and analyzes the positive and negative effects of Confucian political culture on the political development of our country at various stages so as to pave the way for the concrete analysis of the concrete path of the modernization of Confucian politics in the 21st century.Based on the experience of modernized transformation of Confucian politics in Singapore, the fourth chapter explores the effective ways of developing socialist political culture, emphasizes the all-round multi-channel developmental strategies, and studies the whole developmental process of modernization from the introduction of Confucian political culture to the realization of the fusion of political culture and Confucianism in Singapore, trying to find the outstanding achievements of other countries related to the exploration of the Confucian political culture for reference.Based on the relative contents in the preceding article, the fifth chapter mainly discusses the necessity of modernized transformation and the basic rules which needs to be obeyed in the process of the transformation in order to creatively propose the realization path of the further transformation of the Confucian political culture in 21st century .
