Study On The Long-term Mechanism Of Colleges Volunteer Service Participation In The Community Endowment

With the accelerated pace of aging in China, the traditional family and social old-age pension has been difficult to meet the growing needs of the elderly. In order to cope with the increasingly serious contradiction between supply and demand of old age, a new type of old-age pension model, the community endowment, gradually into everyone's attention,and become a national active promotion. College volunteers as an important social welfare power, will play a positive role in the development of the community endowment in the future. The research on the long-term mechanism of college volunteer service participation in the community endowment will help to explore new ways of the development, provides a new idea to carry out the work of volunteer service and the ideological and political education in colleges.This paper mainly adopts the method of empirical research, takes Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) as the research object. In the foundation of reading a large number of related literature and knowing about the status quo of the development of community endowment and volunteer service in the community in China,by questionnaires and visiting community officers and the community elderly, the research gets the basic situation of volunteer service participation in the community endowment of BUPT, discovers and summarizes the problems of the volunteer service of BUPT in the participation of the community endowment, and analyzes the causes. The study found that the main problems are imbalance of part of the supply and demand, activities focus on holidays, higher proportion of short-term activities and the poor service quality. The main causes of these problems are asymmetric information, no long-term planning, no relay mechanism and no professional training. On the basis of this research, this paper tries to put forward specific measures to solve the problems, in order to meet the actual needs, improve the level of college volunteer service and provide some reference for the establishment of the long-term mechanism of College Volunteer Service Participation in the community pension.
