A Study Of Taiwan's Participation In The Specialized Agencies Of The United Nations

In May 2009,Taiwan was invited to participate in the World Health Assembly as an observer.It was really made a substantial breakthrough in the cross-strait relations.Taiwan's international space is a highly sensitive subject with political profits.Blindly blocking participation in international organizations of Taiwan,not only wasting a lot of diplomatic resources and energy,but also making the people of Taiwan disappointed.This thesis makes an analysis of Taiwan's participation in the World Health Organization as the case,and discusses the influencing factors of Taiwan's participation in the World Health Organization.The four factors are Taiwan's factor,the mainland's factor,international factors,and the mechanism factor.We must keep in mind that Taiwan's participation in the UN specialized agencies is a real challenge in cross-strait relations.But We insist that the problem of Taiwan's participation in the UN specialized agencies will be solved with the framework of one-China and good talk.
