Comparative Study On Farmers’ Cooperative And Clan Participate In Village Committee Election In North-west Region

The system of villager autonomy is the democratic practice of Chinese politics at the rural level,which opens up a new era of villagers individually manage village affairs in the form of democratic elections,changing the traditional way of village governance,making the village committee elected as a manifestation of public power democracy and a institutionalized channel of individual To express the interests of the petition.The election of the village committee is regarded as the measure of the village self-government achievement.In the social background of the development of the country’s modernization,China’s rural electoral system during the transition period is facing complex changes.The article mainly studies the influence of the organizational force game of the traditional clan and the new farmers’ cooperatives in the village area,which on the election pattern of the village committee’s election and the village governance structure.The first part: the first chapter clarifies the current research situation of farmers’ cooperative’ and clan’s political participation,through combing the relevant literatures of farmers’ cooperative and clan.And it reveals that the local society of China is experiencing the profound changes of the "semi mature society".The old ethic of the pattern of disorder is gradually dying.Democratic system has become the main system choice for rebuilding rural order.In view of the complexity of Chinese villages,the article divides the village into open villages and closed villages based on the theoretical basis of village boundary and closed and open society,by analyzing of the characteristics that land development is inadequate and the large population of immigrants in the Northwest Borderland.The second part: The third chapter and the fourth chapter study the influence of the clan and farmers’ cooperative in the village committee election from case analysis and quantitative analysis.In the case analysis,the article builds a social relationship network and the village committee election analysis model composed of community memory and agricultural industrialization.Through the case analysis found that clan is strong,farmers’ cooperative is weak,and clan have advantages in the village committee election in closed villages.However,farmers’ cooperative is strong,clan is weak,and farmers’ cooperative takes advantage in the village committee election in open villages.In the quantitative analysis,based on the survey data of 20 townships in 10 counties,this paper constructs the index system of measuring the electoral power of village committee by using the analytic hierarchy process through the process of village committee elections.It compared the different power that farmers’ cooperative and clan participate in the village committee election in different types of village.Deepening the research conclusion that farmers’ cooperative election power is higher than clan in the open village and clan electoral power is higher than farmers’ cooperative in the closed village.The third part: The article studies the internal factors which influence the electoral power of the cooperative committee members using multiple hierarchical regression model from three aspects of the characteristics of personal organization,democratic construction,stakeholder awareness.Measurement results show that the voting action power of farmers’ cooperative are more active than clan,and years of participating in farmers’ cooperative,receiving services of farmers’ cooperative,joining in farmer cooperative democratic elections,management and supervise activities,and cognition of stakeholders degrees has a positive influence on the voting action power of the members,then organizational identity confirmed the robustness of conclusion.Therefore,it can be said that the development of farmers’ cooperative is conducive to reconstructing the new order of village democracy,and promoting the grassroots democratic development process from the deep excavation.It can be improve the village governance pattern.
