Research On Spiritual Care Service For The Retired Teachers And Staff In University Community

With the continuous progress of population aging in China,the issue of providing for the aged has increasingly become the focus of social attention.In recent years,great progress has been made in the study of elderly social work,but the theoretical researchers and practical workers of social work lack the necessary attention to the "retired college staff".Through the observation of daily life and visits to understand,we found that the community of retired staff although in a sense of belonging to strong special groups in the elderly,but because of the particularity of the group itself,they are faced with the problem of special pension.As a social work aimed at realizing human dignity and value,we should respond to the retirement problems faced by college retirees.This paper reviews the related research of university community and spiritual support as well as the domestic and foreign practice of social work intervention pension services,the demand level theory,crisis intervention theory and social support theory as the theoretical framework,using the method of questionnaire and interview to understand the current situation of C Community College retired staff pension spirit,explore the main factors affecting the C Community College retired staff spirit endowment tool using Stata statistical analysis,and try to use methods of social work to solve the retired staff mental pension service problems,explore the university community of retired staff pension service spirit.Based on the hierarchy of needs theory and Fei Xiaotong's "differential pattern" theory,combined with the group characteristics of university community of retired staff,the retired staff mental pension demand is divided into emotional needs,social needs,entertainment needs,learning needs and self actualization needs five dimensions.First,through the descriptive statistics to understand the status quo of the spiritual needs of the university community C retired staff groups,then use multiple linear regression method to explore the main factors affecting the C Community College retired staff spiritual endowment.The study found that marital status,number of children,social status and family changes had a significant impact on the spiritual needs of retired staff.Then through the analysis of retirees emotional needs,social needs,entertainment needs,learning needs,self actualization needs and the university community of retired staff mental endowment service supply situation and puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.Finally,a brief summary and reflection of this research is made.
