With the growing problem of population aging,how to better solve the problem of old-age care has become the focus of increasing concern of the society.In 2002,the United Nations officially proposed the "active aging" strategy as a solution to the problem of population aging.In 1996,China promulgated the "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of the Rights and Interests of the Elderly",which provided the legal system for the protection of the rights and interests of the elderly in China.In October 2017,the report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out: "Actively respond to the aging of the population,build a policy system for the elderly,filial piety,respect for the elderly and the social environment,promote the integration of medical care,and accelerate the development of the cause and industry.",providing a grand blueprint for the care of the new age.With the passage of time,the problem of population aging has become increasingly complicated.More and more scholars pay attention to the social participation of the elderly.Social participation can not only solve the problem of pension,but also promote the development of social pension.The core of active aging is to participate in breaking the previous passive passive acceptance of old-age care services,so that more elderly people can participate in society according to their own abilities and aspirations.From the perspective of active aging,college retired teachers as a high-educational high-knowledge group,how to use their advantages to achieve the goal of community participation,improve the quality of life of the retired teachers and promote community development.This paper uses questionnaire survey and interview method to study the status of community participation of retired teachers in X colleges.This paper elaborates the current situation and characteristics of community participation of retired teachers in colleges and universities,and uses ecosystem theory to analyze the factors affecting the community participation of retired teachers in colleges and universities.It is found that the retired teachers in colleges and universities are mostly passively involved,and their own advantages are not well played in community participation.,lack of community governance platform,weak backbone in the community and other issues.On the basis of this research,social workers should design community participation activities for the characteristics of retired teachers,construct community mutual help teams,build participation platforms,etc.,and promote retired teachers to actively participate in community participation.Actively aging middle-aged and elderly people actively participate in the purpose.
