An Analysis Of China's Public Diplomacy To Indonesia In The Context Of "One Belt And One Road"

Public diplomacy is an important part of the national foreign policy and an extension of government diplomacy,and therefore must be integrated into and serve the national development strategy.Since the introduction of the "One Belt and One Road" initiative,especially since "the Silk Road of the 21 st Century" has been put forward,there is a common and cooperative space between China and Indonesia in the development of the interests of the demand level,Indonesia has become one of the "interconnection" target strategic fulcrum countries.China has carried out public diplomacy practice in "Indonesia and China" with government policy interpretation,media communication strategy,educational and cultural exchange,Confucius Institute as the main body,and Indonesia's " One Belt and One Way " policy concerns and support increased,and shape a good practice atmosphere for the smooth development of the "One Belt and One Road",the "One Belt and One Road" has promoted the content of public diplomacy increasingly richer.At present,China's Indonesian public diplomacy has been given some success while facing a lot of challenges,for example,public diplomacy in countries with less targeted,public diplomacy is lack of universality,the content of policy communication is biased towards one-way cognition and public diplomacy does not attach importance to new media,which are prompted to carry out the "One Belt and One Road" deep in the next step,China needs to do: further improve the overall design of public diplomacy in Indonesia,promote the concept of the Indonesian people from the policy understanding and support of "One Belt and One Road" to the value and philosophy of identity,while continuing to promote public diplomacy to achieve the main diversification,promote public diplomacy by one-way docking to the interaction to promote the change.
