Study On The Public Diplomacy Of China To Thailand From The Perspective Of The Belt And Road

In 2013,President Xi Jinping has proposed the major initiative of building”One Belt and One road”.“The One Belt and One Road initiative” is an important shift for China from a participant in global governance to a builder.It is also a positive exploration by China for a new model of international cooperation under new historical conditions.This is an open platform for China to promote cooperation with relevant countries.The cooperation spirit and the infrastructure construction of connectivity have received positive responses from those countries.However,unavoidable,in the process,there are some voices of doubt and misunderstanding,which limited effect of “the One Belt and One Road initiative”.How to eliminate the misunderstanding and earn recognition in the international community become the key to the success of "the One Belt and One Road initiative”.In the era of globalization,public diplomacy has become one of the important ways for countries to express their national conditions and policy.In the new period,during the construction of “the One Belt and One Road initiative”,spread the Spirit of the silk road which include cooperation,openness and mutual benefit to foreigners,exchange the information and communication to foreigners to improve China's image in the international community,obtain a broad public opinion base for “the One Belt and One Road”,become the most important work in China's public diplomacy.Thailand is one founding countries of ASEAN,which has important geographical significance for China,play an important role in “the One Belt and One Road initiative”.Beginning a public diplomacy work in Thailand,it's very helpful to promote the understanding and recognition of “the One Belt and One Road initiative” in Thai society.It is also promoting people-to-people exchanges between the peoples of China and Thailand.Also the public diplomacy work made a strong public support for “the One Beltand One Road initiative ".This paper is based on” the One Belt and One Road initiative”,the main body contains four parts,analyzes the direction of China's public diplomacy work in Thailand.Under the background of " the One Belt and One Road initiative,the first part discusses the goal and demand of China's public diplomacy to Thailand.The second part discussed the current public diplomacy situation now.Mainly consists of the society practice and progress for the public diplomacy work.The third part focuses on the problems of public diplomacy,discusses the subject,object and mode of communication of public diplomacy.During the development of public diplomacy,the last part is to make suggestions for the future,in view of the present problems,put forward better suggestions for the public diplomacy's work.
