Study On Formation Management Mode Of Engineering Cadets In Military Academies

As we know,military academies,built for military,its mission is to cultivate talents who are always ready for war,to command and join battles.While,as the world military reform,war form and mode of operations has changed a lot.However,for China’s military academies has developed in a peaceful and stable environment for a long time.It is an urgent to cultivate the military elites who are smarter and more energetic.Therefore,with their smart mind and advanced innovation,they can train the troops in the peaceful time and can deal with the situation on the battlefield neatly to seize the opportunity to win a battle.In this context,President Xi and Central Military Commission require the military academies aim to build a strong army as the point of departure and purpose,propel the military reform with Chinese characteristics,renew military way of thinking and educational concept and advance training contents,mechanism and ways according to the demands of fighting to win the war.Therefore,with military academies’ all-round improvement,the measures and methods of military’s standardized management can be improved at its source to make academies’ education meet military’s requirements.In order to implement and realize the central instruction spirit,National University of Defense Technology actively promotes management and education innovation.Based on the troops’ requirements,National University of Defense Technology combines the political quality with military quality,imparting knowledge with nurturing innovation,improving working ability with increasing the sustaining power of development to strengthen the cadets’ capability and skills.This paper presents the training objective of engineering cadets and the situation of training and management.Besides,it analyzes the problems through the same-grade management mode.Combined with the reasons,this paper draws on the experience of foreign military academies sophisticated managerial expertise and chooses College of Science in National University of Defense Technology as a test-case.By analyzing what has been achieved through one-year experience of mix-grade management mode,it proves that this mode not only can cultivate cadets’ leadership and innovation to some extent,but also can make cadets serve troops better.While,there still exists some shortcomings and some optimized suggestions are proposed.
