Studies On Police Corruption In The Perspective Of Administrative Ethics

Corruption,like the cancer of power,poses serious challenges to social equity and justice and political stability.The wildly spread corruption cases have very adverse effects.In recent years,the cases of police violating law and disciplines have been increasing.Among them,the cases related to corruption are on the rise and police corruption becomes a problem that must be faced in the reform of police affairs.Police corruption damages the image of police in people's mind,lowers down the trust of the public to police and threatens the foundation of the lawruling.Therefore,this issue should be attached with great importance.This paper ties to analyze the reasons of police corruption from the perspective of administrative ethics so as to give suggestions on preventing police corruption.The paper provides a new perspective on the study of police corruption and has practical significance in solving the problem of police corruption.The paper's structure is listed as followed:Chapter one: Introduction.This part introduces the purpose,significance,related studies from domestic and abroad,research methods and innovation point of the study.Chapter two: Analysis of Related Concepts.This part expounds and analyzes the concepts of corruption,administrative corruption,police corruption,etc.Chapter three: The Status Quo and Harms of Police Corruption in Our Nation.This part analyzes the status quo of police corruption in China and harms brought by it.Chapter four: The Reasons of Police Corruption in China from the Perspective of Administrative Ethics.The main reasons include the negative influence of traditional administrative ethics,lack of police moral cultivation,defects in the police ethics system and so on.Chapter five: Countermeasures about Preventing Police Corruption from the Perspective of Administrative Ethics.Countermeasures about preventing police corruption from the perspective of administrative ethics include enhancing police's moral quality,regulating police ethics law system,improving the supervision mechanism of police ethics,strengthening incorruptible government culture construction among policemen and so on.
