The Index Construction Of Regional Public Security

In recent years,with the "5·12" Wenchuan earthquake,Xinjiang "7·05" riot,"the Wenzhou high-speed train crash ",Kunming "3·01" terrorist violence case,"Tianjin Binhai explosion" and a series of regional public security case exposed frequently,the regional public security has come into view of the government departments at all levels and the public becoming the focus of attention.In China,although research on public safety issues has been carried out since 1998,but the regional public security has not been studied separately,and the contents of the research is limited to the social security point of view,and the research range was narrow.This study was carried out to define the sense of regional public security from a more comprehensive perspective,prepared the regional public security questionnaire within contemporary Chinese situation,understood the regional public security situation of the residents,in order to provide some constructive opinions and suggestions for regional public governance.First of all,this study did a literature review,and summarized the concept of regional public security and its contents.Secondly,according to the interview results "regional public security's investigation questionnaire" was established.Then,setting the Zhifu District of Yantai city in Shandong Province as the representative,250 questionnaires were issued in the region,among which 231 were effective,and through the project analysis and exploratory factor analysis,finally 30 questionnaires with a good sense of reliability and validity were selected,which contains 5 factors,"trust security,food security,self realization of security,expected future security and social security environment".In addition,the research based on the regional public security variables found that food safety and housing security is the two dimensions of concern for the people of Zhifu District of Yantai City,and regional public security in gender and age,education,marital status,occupation,residence time,income level has significant difference.Finally,through the naming of regional public security factors and the establishment of the index system,the study constructed the regional public security regression equation,revealed the causes of the regional public security situation and forming process,and explained the value of index construction of regional public security for public governance.
