Research On Data Resource System Description Method Oriented Provenance

The description of data resource is the key technology of the organization and management of data resources,which takes data as an information resource to express and describe.And data provenance is to obtain the life-cycle information of data,to solve the problem of data quality and data reliability by tracing the origin information of data.In this paper,a data resource system description method oriented provenance was proposed according to the development status and existed question for data resource in military domain.The purpose of this method is to solve the difficulty of data resource description because of large amount and complicated structure of data,and the difficulty of data provenance because of homogeneous systems and invertible operation in process.The main content of this paper is divided into the following several aspects.(1)Put forward the concept of data resource system,and propose the description method,which describes not only the data resource,but also the data distribution,sharing and exchanging,treatment scheme and application and service of data.Finally to realize the construction,management and application of data.(2)According to the demand of combination of resource description and data provenance,study and summarize the representative and related technology,and put forward the data resource description method oriented to data provenance,which is based on markup language and resource description framework,and realized by ontology method.(3)Under the guidance of the description method proposed in this paper,establish a military domain ontology named MIL Ontology.And define the concrete classes,properties,relations,restrictions,axioms and inference rules,which lays the foundation of the application of this method.(4)Design the prototype system based on data resource description oriented data provenance,and concretely analysis the structure of the overall framework,the use cases and activities and the function modules.Lastly,realize the system by instance.(5)Investigate and survey the situation of military information construction and data resource construction,and then put forward solution to solve the existed problem.
