Positive administrative personality is an important direction of modernization of civil servants' administrative personality,and also is the inevitable requirement of social development and public administration.The coming of post-industrial society,the transformation of social governance model,the gradual manifestation of civil servants' subjectivity,all of this force an positive administrative personality.Positive administrative personality of civil servants not only further enforces the theory of administrative personality,but also has important practical significanceFirstly,the thesis puts forward the concept of positive administrative personality by adopting the literature method,starting from the basic concepts of positive personality and positive personality and combined with the main performance of negative administrative personality.Positive administrative personality,refers to positive and constructive administrative personality of administrative staff,which is the sum of positive physical and mental characteristics exhibited by the executive in the course of performing the official duties.Secondly,the thesis takes the civil service as the research object and carries out the relevant empirical research on the basis of theoretical research.The research investigates separately the situation of positive administrative personality of civil servants with self-complied questionnaire and analysis its' differences in demographic variables.The research investigates separately civil servants' character strengths with “Chinese Virtues Questionnaire” and verify the effect of these character strengths on civil servants' positive administrative personality.Furthermore,the research extracts the core character strengths model of civil servants' positive administrative personality.The basis conclusions of the empirical research are as follows: first,the overall situation of positive administrative personality of civil servants is positive,but there is still to be perfect,and there are significant differences in age,political appearance,job level and current service length;second,civil servants have been more with most of the character strengths,and there are significant differences in gender,political appearance,unit type and job category;third,hope,social,perspective,brave,belief constitute the core character strengths model.Finally,the thesis put forwards basis ideas and related concrete measures of constructing civil servants' positive administrative personality.
