Research On Local Government Information Disclosure Under The Internet Environment

In China,there is a long-standing information asymmetry between the government and the public.Many government decisions and behaviors involving public interests are classified as confidential to the public.With the rise of contemporary participatory democracy in the middle of the twentieth century,more and more countries have disclosed the government information in the form of legislation.It is the public that the local government serves.With the development of society,it is essential for our government especially our local government to improve and establish the information disclosure system.With the continuous development and innovation of information technology in the Internet era,information transmission experienced earthshaking changes.The Internet has become the primary media of getting information to the public,The existing pattern and system of government information disclosure in our country has been against unprecedented challenge and impact.Along with the development and progress of society,people’s consciousness of right to know was raised constantly.To adapt to the new situation,It was fairly critical to change the concept of government information publicity in a timely manner,improve the channels and ways of information disclosure,and establish a comprehensive set of local government information disclosure system.Firstly,optimizing and creating a relatively open and transparent administration environment would secure the understanding and support of government behavior from the public;Secondly,a good interactive mechanism can improve people’s political participation enthusiasm as masters of the country.We should give full play to the social supervision,improve the administrative ability of the government,effectively prevent and control the corruption of the power,and realize the a clean government.The thesis use Hebi city as an example,Analyzation and summery was made about the work of Hebi’s government information disclosure,the deep-seated reasons causing the current situation were given as well,from the reference of domestic and foreign advanced research results and practical experience,This thesis put forward some practical countermeasures and suggestions to improve local government information disclosure in the Internet environment.
