Study On Pension Service System Of Kundulun District In Baotou Of Inner Mongolia

With the acceleration of the aging process the phenomenon of getting old before being rich appears in China,the largest developing country in the world.Kundulun district belongs to the central city of Baotou,the largest industrial city in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.The Steel Industry is the leading industry of the region in the past 50 years.With the retirement of large number of industrial workers,the problem of aging is becoming more serious.However,the traditional pension model has not been able to adapt to the current demand for pension services in Kundulung district.It is the key issue that establishment of a sound pension service system to meet the increasingly diversity of old people's demand for the aged.After working for many years in this region,the author conducts a field investigation and study on the old-age care service system in Kundulun district.With the study of public management specialty in the past three years,I has learned and mastered the professional knowledge of public administration and applied professional knowledge to the present Kundulun district pension service system.The needs of the old people is diverse.Any kinds of pension service system could not meet all the needs of the old people.We need to build a new pension service system to provide more comfortable and convenient pension services for the elderly with cooperation of government,communities,social organizations and families.There are still some challenges,such as the lagging development of thesocial pension service,and the serious shortage of specialized personnel and an uneven distribution of the pension service system.Based on the successful experience of developed regions and the actual conditions in Kundulun district,the author proposes some suggests to strengthen the systematic design of the pension service system,build a diversified pension service system,strengthen the cultivation of pension service professionals,increase investment and promote the retirement service balanced development and other aspects of the countermeasures for the Kundulun district pension service system.
