On The Study Of The Economic Factors Behind Chinese Americans Support Donald Trump During The 2016 U.S. Presidential Election

During the 2016 U.S.presidential campaign,Donald Trump,who is a businessman and has no politic experience before,succeeded in becoming the 45~thh president of the United States.This places him in a position to catch worldwide attention,makes people all over the world surprised,and arouses profound discussion of the“Trump Phenomenon”.There arouses many unprecedented and unusual situations during the presidential campaign.One of them is those Chinese Americans who used to be indifferent to politics suddenly and publicly support Donald Trump,which draws the attention of the U.S.mainstream media.Generally,most of the minorities are inclined to side with the Democrats and Hillary Clinton,for the Democrat care about their interest.In fact,what matters to the Democratic Party is not the minorities'interest,yet their own position.They care about the minorities because they want the minorities to vote for them.Historically,Chinese Americans,just like other minorities,are inclined to support the Democratic Party.However,unlike previous elections,these Chinese Americans who support Donald Trump have a higher proportion than before.This deserves our attention.This is what the thesis aims to analyze,the thesis focuses on analyzing the economic reasons for Chinese Americans support Trump during the presidential election.Through research,the thesis finds many factors contributes to Chinese Americans supporting Trump,like economic factors,values,and social life factors.However,among these factors,economic factor is an important one,that's why the thesis analyze the reasons of Chinese Americans supporting Trump from the perspective of economy factor.Trump's various proposals and policies probably protect Chinese Americans'job opportunities,relieve Chinese Americans'economy burden,and create job opportunities for Chinese Americans,which is an important reason for Chinese Americans support Trump.
