Comparative Study On Food Safety Supervision System Between China And Developed Countries

Food safety is an important symbol to evaluate the quality of people's lives.In recent years,with the emergence of new technologies and new foods,the world has appeared a lot of food safety incidents,which caused great harm to people's hearts.The food safety issues have become the difficulties besetting governments.How to effectively monitor food safety has become an important issue.This paper mainly made the research to the regulations and standards of national food safety supervision,regulatory agencies and their responsibilities,and the important ideas of supervision,discussed the characteristics of the food safety supervision system in the European Union,the United States,Japan and South Korea and other developed countries.This paper found the existing problems in our country in the food safety supervision by comparison,then made relevant suggestions to improve food safety supervision by combining with China's actual situation.Firstly,China needed to develop the retailed and strict food safety laws and regulations,owing to the lack of integrity and systematization of the legal system on food and processed products.Secondly,China required the social forces involved in law enforcement to solve the problem of supervision in law enforcement.Thirdly,to further improve the food safety supervision and detection system by increasing government investment and rational allocation of food safety testing system resources.Lastly,for the weak awareness of consumer safety issues,government should establish effective means of public participation and strict penalties to violate the rules to regulate the industry order to purify the purpose of the industry environment...
