Study On Emergency Management In Colleges Of Dalian Area

The study of emergency management in college aims to improve administrator's wholesome emergency-handling abilities,perfect emergency-handling system so as to stabilize society,develop college education and give aid to the growth of college students.This paper elaborates the concepts of college emergency and its management,including its classification,motivation and characteristics.With the help of questionnaire and field work,this paper studies the basic mode,organization structuring,responsibility division and management status quo and finds out that there are,more or less,problems in the management such as lack of precaution,no enough emergency plan,information or psychological counseling,neglect of afterwork counseling,etc.Having analyzed the statistics of the questionnaire,this paper proposes to perfect the emergency plan,including paying enough attention to precaution,checking the “key”crowds and the hot issues regularly,cultivating crisis consciousness and set up emergency contact,perfecting emergency handling system.This paper also,through four aspects,proposes to better emergency handling process,including classification of emergencies and modes of handling,to better emergency control,emergency control sustaining system and information conveying so as to enhance the abilities to cope with emergencies.To complete the subsequent recover process,focusing on the study of rehabilitation,responsibility investigation,and perfection of the precaution plan.This paper provides the administrators with valuable handling plans of how to identify and deal with emergencies,so the related departments may react quickly and co-operatively in coping with the emergencies,so as to enhance the administrative abilities and level of handling the emergencies.This paper also gives attention to precautious process of emergencies in that sound precaution may eliminate emergencies at their beginning or at least lessen their effects or spread hence save the cost of personnel,expenditure and wealth.Thus the stability may be maintained and harmonious and safe campus environment may be created for both teaching faculty and students.
